I've started to study Japanese online on Rosetta Stone w/ my sister, and so far I only know some of the basics:

man-otokonohito
woman-onnanohito
dog-inu
cat-neko
apple-ringo(?)
bread-pan
water-mizu(?)
green-midori
run-hashite(?)
goodbye-sayonara

I have a simple reason of reading yaoi; I do not care of staring tits and pussies on my screen, I find majority of shoujo manga grills so annoying that I'd rip my hair off before making it to the end of the story.

Hi! I've done courses (the teacher's weren't that good at my native language tho and almost no other students took it serious, so it was hard) and practiced by myself, but I'm still an amateur...
I've never tried to learn online with someone else, but maybe it would be a good idea? 0v0

I started studied Japanese about half a year ago, but I'm self teaching so I do everything by myself. I don't have anyone around me that knows and speaks it, so it gets really difficult sometimes. I'd love to have someone to study or practice with, doesn't matter if you're a beginner like myself or fluent. I'd also like to help others as much as I can! If anyone's interested, my LINE ID is thecatlady13 (for anything more private pm me please) Thanks. \(^o^)/
Sometimes dreams are us trying to live out whatever fantasies we have of the other person in our head. Brains love jumping to conclusions. Like 1 + 1= ?
The answer is window.
Just because your brain thinks it doesn't mean its the correct answer for that situation. Just try talking to him first. If he's nice get to know him. If he's awful you can ge...... 2 reply
Group date. It helps with the whole social thing. If you are uncomfortable with a one on one setting. While interacting with people figure out your own comfort zone. It may just be that you are uncomfortable with online interactions with strangers in a romantic setting. Or if you are like me you attract some weirdness. People build feelings differe...... reply
I prefer Korean webtoons. I got into manga/manhwa with Attack On Titan and so often I had no clue what was going on when it came to action scenes. I don't have that with manhwa (especially when colored). Also I prefer the panels on top of each other. After reading so many like this, Japanese manga seem kind of crowded to me now. 1 reply
Some people just jump into the relationship pool right off the bat and they suck at it. Others just need to take some time to figure out who they are interested in. Girls I've grown up with started dating at 13 and are miserable and single at 26. While others wait till they are 22 and are happily married to the love of their lives now. Everyone is ...... 1 reply
You should just do it however and with whomever you feel comfortable with. Make sure it is safe and consensual for both parties and forget about the rest. Virginity is just a made up thing so why should you be embarrassed by it? If you are still freaking then just think everyone is a virgin at some point.
On a side note there are plenty of people...... reply

god, when Dandelion died I had to hold back tears, my heart hurt for like two days, he deserved so much better and I’m still salty about it. the king deserved a much more brutal death imo, but at least my pure baby is avenged. 1 reply
There are a lot of Korean web toons I love but I'll always prefer Japanese manga. There are so many different genres and different styles of work of it, so I don't know how you manage to only find the ones you dislike. I believe there's something for everyone, and I've read lots and lots of cute and full of love mangas. But my main reason is the ar...... 1 reply
The greatest perk of being single for me is not getting hurt.I don't have to cry when we break up.I don't need to feel heartbroken when I see that person cheating.I don't need to feel sad when we fight.I don't need to feel jealous. So that's why I think it's the greatest perk for me.

Omg,it's so weird how we have the exact same story, like, spot on.I am also really bad at speaking,I was fat when I was young, and I can't take it when a couple are making out in front of me,it makes me jealous.
So i'm like #Single4Ever ╥﹏╥ (even tho i don't want this) reply
I was only reading shounen ai at the age of 9~10 and then slowly discover that there was more to the fujoshi's world (=・ω・=) And right now i am only a young adult and still reading yaoi happily with the yaoi god watching over us (⌒▽⌒) 1 reply
I'm an American and the MY English is probably as close as it gets to sounding like gibberish most of the time. So don't sweat it. I try to say one thing and it comes out like an alien said it. From the way you write your question it's obvious you're not as bad as you think. I'm 17 and I've also never dated anyone. And I'm shy and currently I'm con...... reply

Stop degrading yourself. There's nothing wrong with you. There's a lot of people on this planet and if the people around you are too blind to notice you, just remember your soul mate is still out there probably trying to find you as well. It's not weird at all and you are as normal as it gets. Not everyone turns around and gets a relationship, no ...... reply
