I definitely dislike the girly uke trope, if I wanted a girl, I would have read shoujo instead. There are stronger girl characters in shoujo than these girly uke. I also dislike the overly possesive, rapey seme. You know the type, the dark, tall, intimidating seme, that treats his uke like shit. character development : characters with their own demons that either comfort/destroy each others, character questionning about their sexuality, misunderstandings that helps understand the characters / minsunderstandings only there to speed up the plot
