I'm 16. Yaoi is getting immensely popular with younger teen girls nowadays, mostly those who have tired of shoujo and shipped slash pairs from shounen mangas!

I'm 17, will turn 18 in May next year. I started getting into yaoi at about 13-14 (as in I watched Junjou Romantica and looked at fanart and read fanfics and shipped boys) but I seriously got into it at about 15.

I was 6. It was me, my friend and his cousin. It was only the 3 of in in our gr.1 class. It was just before our Christmas vacation. We just finish watching a movie. I'm 17, but will be 18 next week. Started reading yaoi when I was 12-13ish. How I found yaoi: It was when I read was reading a manga and I started shipping guys together since I started to hate a lot of weak, annoying female chars (used to love shoujo). Holy crap. I feel damn old! 42!!! My kids are 20, 19, and 16; they think mom is weird for loving anime, manga, and comics Still young at heart damn it! But the amount of young people would explain the want to do "first kiss" topic! I thought it was kind of strange, but this explains it! The first anime I think it was Pokemon, but i'm not sure and i don't really remember cuz i have a pikachuu toy, but for sure i know that i watched Dragon ball Z cuz i have the CDs, after that i think it was YuGiOh! or Bakugan or something else, but at that time i didn't really know it was anime so (while knowing what it was) my first anime was Ski...... reply
