Reread this again for the first time since 2019.
Literally one of the best manga I’ve ever read.
That last chapter hit though. Nishimiya’s mom and grandma cake thing really hit a soft spot.

A DILENT VOICE OMGOMGOMG SO GOOD

Im currently only on chapter 7, and Im ugly crying in bed over this. Her having the courage and strength to forgive his horrible actions in the past, him apologizing to her and her mother, and him deciding not to end his life. This story is seriously heart wrenching and beautiful, even only 7 chapters in.

Best shit ever fr fr the anime made me cry and the manga is giving me the extra content I REQUIRED from this franchise (I am experiencing Shouko withdrawal)

story is about shouko nishimiya, a deaf girl, and shoya ishida, a former bully of hers. really heartbreaking to see shouko get bullied so cruelly despite literally being such sweetheart. and the fact that its all because of her disability makes me so sick. anyways, a silent voice is really good and always moves me to tears.
