Sorry, but his grief over his late wife doesn't make it alright for him to be a complete asshole to a very young woman that he shouldn't have been seducing in the first place. And what in the world is this trope (I see it in real life, too, although I can't bend my little brain around it) that when a man loses the love of his life through her death, he immediately has to get laid. It certainly doesn't say much for either the depth of his love or his moral fiber.

I understand why FL ran away from ML and didn’t want to have a relationship with him! ML is a asshole for what he did to FL, I want him to suffer more!!
As far as Harlequins go, this wasn't too bad. ML had his reasons for leaving FL, and when they reunited he tried his best to make up for his past actions. Still, treating someone like sh*t after you've slept with them, is inexcusable, no matter the reason.
