I love historical fantasy like this. The art is superbly-similar to Yamano-sensei's work which is very good. The story progression is great, but mangago should remove these raw versions that aren't even by the real mangaka. It's pretty obvious that it's a fake. I think leaving the raw-fake versions out of the picture would have been better. Still love this sexy manga though~ Jemaru and Leonard are to die for~ Kind of makes me thinks of Havi and Vald from Crimson Spell xD

huuum.. I don't know, I have mixed feeling about that one. I kinda wanted to like it a lot (because that sort of fantasy is totally my jam and I was hoping for strong minded pairing) but yeah, I didn't really got that. Though I did liked that vol 2 better. But all in all the manga was lacking something to me. On the first volume, it wasn't the rapy-thing who turned me off (though I didn't find it quite appealing too, but it was the plot, all right. Suit me fine.) but I just would have wished that the uke didn't got so quickly in the stockholm syndrom and put more of a fight (I had so much hope for this uke and just.. nope... nope... he could have been a random fragile woman with fine feature it would have been exactly the same. Even his clothes were hella girly. And the whole rape thing was treated so lightly !). Also I didn't like Jamal. It was like "hey I fuck all the guys in this manga" and then without reason " I would die for you my dear uke, your my one and only".

In the end I just get this feeling that it could have been good, but there's a lots of things lacking. In the plot, in the characters development, some part seemed rushed for smut and that's so sad. I think it could have been done in 3 volumes and not get boring. So yeah, not bad, but not good either.

I read a little of this a few years ago and was curious to finish it. What I have concluded is that this entire Manga is hot trash and I literally would not recommend this to anyone for any reason.

Jamaru is a manipulative rapist and there is no redemption for this character at all in the slightest. It was nauseating how the story would try to sing his praises while he was quite literally assaulting the uke EVERY. NIGHT! The worst part was that he was borderline self aware. He, verbatim, said that the uke couldn't escape due to looking so different in enemy territory. Yet he had the NERVE to tell said uke that "he wanted him to make decisions on his own." And shit like that when the uke very clearly had no options and the "freedom" that was aforementioned was life Imprisonment. If that wasn't bad enough, he emotionally, mentally, and physically was screwing with literally EVERYONE ELSE! He knew his ex lover and subordinate still carried feelings for him and he literally TEASED the poor man on getting married to a women cause he wanted a family??? Like why? For what reason? Why does he have that much energy to constantly be a dick? In conclusion Jamaru can choke on glass.
The uke, Leonard, my heart positively BLEEDS for. People will call him stupid, I straight up say that this poor man is the poster boy for being a Stockholm Syndrome victim. The only ACTUAL choice he ever really made was trying to negotiate with Jemaru in the very first chapter for the lives of the men under his command. He selflessly offered himself to be the political prisoner of war to save his men. That is honorable. Leonard is a good man. Jamaru then took that opportunity to rape Leonard in front of BOTH their subordinates!! Like from day one Leonard was irrefutablly humiliated by the seme and then followed every night where that humiliation was just compounded on. The conditioning of his Imprisonment on the trip back I was literally in tears for. He was physically bound up so that he couldn't even WALK during the day and the only time he was unwrapped was to be handcuffed and gaged at night for Jamaru's pleasure. -_- (kill the seme with fire) Like everyone please leave Leonard alone, the poor man needs our sympathy.
NOT TO MENTION! That HIS commander, yeah Leonard's supposed AmAzInG commanding officer, ALSO raped Leonard AS A POINT! DE FRANCIS RAPED LEONARD TO MAKE A FUCKING POINT! The whole objective with De Francis was to break down Leonard's resolve so that "he wouldn't choose Jamaru (??)" Even though my baby boy has made a total of FUCK ALL choices this ENTIRE time! De Francis is also a character that I would manifest a car crash for if he were real. AFTER he had assaulted Leonard and their literally last exchange was:
Leonard: My image of you has died today.
De Francis: It was never a real image to begin with.
Yeah after all that, the De Fucker had the SHEER AUDACITY to look Leonard in the eyes and tell him that God would never forgive him cause he slept with a man!?!?! Like hommie, let me pull out a mirror! Bitch, you did this for what?! I wish I had an OUNCE of De Fucker's confidence cause then I would rule the world! I don't know why he puts so much effort into being stupid, there aren't any paying jobs for it!

3.5/5. Great art, awful plot. Wtf was going on. A commander of the Europeans gave up his position to save his Knights. He was told to get undressed and lay down and say "please rape me". He was taken slave but slowly is falling in love with his captor. Captor is a hot chunk of chocolate. But the plot is dumb. Idk what hell was going on. I stopped caring toward the end.

Rate this two star for The only normal characters in, the leopard and prince Mustafa. Honestly this is messed up!!! The seme is supposedly "infatuated" with the uke but at the same time he can randomly fuck others and also fuck the uke like that in public. That is not love.. sigh, this manga had the potential to be good the ending is also good But it went downhell just after 1 chapter towards the end

I remember I couldn't get past the first chapter of this before and so I tried again today. I pushed through and boy was it freaking hard. I got to the 6th chapter and again said I'm out. I can't with this story, I'm pretty sure the only reason why it has such a good rating is bc of the uncensored dicks, the galore of sex scenes, and the good art. There is nothing in terms of plot development at all. Love? Nah, man that's what you call stockholm syndrome. Love? Why the f are you f-ing other people? This is too adult for me. I get that life can be like this. Heck, historically this could be realistic, but this is just not for me. I tried. honestly. I tried, twice, but I can't with this story.
