Adults who knew each other since middle school. Mc was a girly-looking crybaby in MS and guys liked to bully him for it, his love interest saves him for the first time in MS, and mc was enamored with him since. Fast forward to present, his friend is the only person he treats with any respect and friend sees him doing this to others, so when they argue over friend going to a match-making session, friend assumes he's been thrown away too. Good one-shot, everything came together well and didn't feel rushed even though it's so short. The only thing it's lacking is any kind of perspective from friend, and what happened with the match-making session. It's never mentioned, and I can't believe anyone would enter into a relationship like that with such ease if he hadn't already been in love, but we're never clued in one way or another about it.
