Old-timey character stereotypes, old-timey character designs, old-timey tropes. Tiresome top-is-manly-bottom-is-girly junk and all the associated tropes that go along, like how the top is messy/dirty and the bottom is good at girly things like cooking and cleaning with no explanation. Most people can do both of these things fairly well so to call attention to the dynamic implies there should be some meaning behind it but there just isn't. Also the romance is not well-developed, and top has shown no signs to the bottom that he likes him and meanwhile they decide 2 sec later to go have sex-sex even though the bottom is a virgin. Like, what is even going on here.
