ive always been intrigued by twins, more so when theyre written in fiction coz see here, long hair dude felt lonely without his twin (and ik irl twins who are anxious when theyre apart). i was lowkey singing the line "2 less lonely ppl in the world ~" anyway, black hair dude had negligent parents and maybe the dad had a little redeeming quality (albeit too late when his kid needed his affection most) but still great coz he acknowledges his son's new cherished affection meaning he'd be more or less supportive or unintrusive of his affairs haha

Don't take it too seriously!

Sweet, but the happy ending was really tainted by them thinking they will part. It was cute, but I don’t have a lot of hope for happily ever after for these two.

Yes, the drawings and the story aren't bad. But I can't give a good grade to this manga, because of the ending "message".

Had the author written a message in the end like "unfortunately, not all love stories necessarily end well", then yes, I would have understood.

But if you read well, it was written in the sense that "gay love stories have to end badly, because they are forbidden relationships".

And don't tell me "yes, but at the era it was written...". I was already a teenager when this manga was written, and many others decided that their story would end well.

In short, I cannot tolerate that we can communicate this kind of horrible message. A real disappointment.

This was beautiful, but the ending made it sound that after they graduate they would break up and marry and have kids, and they would be incomplete like that. Ending hurt me.

Two boys who paint a nearly identical paining wish to meet one another and fall into gentle, first love. Featuring rare team!switch and older concepts regarding same-sex relationships, but very sweet.

Those two first meet when both of them have a painting exhibited an art gallery, with a similar style and the same name. They take interest in each other and gradually get to know each other better, feeling comfortable and complete with the other. Although both of them are guys and may have to part later on, they still treasure their relationship and their memories.
