Psyche Delico just WON MY HEART. I mean, I liked her before too but I certainly wasn't among her Die Hard fan group. This work of her's is like a Priceless Treasure box! Aside from the fairly good oneshot about the the coworker, I was absolutely STUNNED by the Brilliance of the other other 2 stories.

Psyche Delico took 2 very simple & widely used themes by BL mangaks - Unrequited love, Love Triangle. But she portrayed them from a Mind blowing Intricated Psychological Perspective, switching from one character's POV to another with the most Impeccable Precision! From the very first page to the last word of the last line of the last page I could do nothing but read & consume everything with overwhelming awe. Although I kind of understand the implications but still to me, the name of the manga itself feels like humble modesty on her part, as this is nothing short of the Masterpieces I have read so far.

For some reason I am not a fan of this mangaka's storylines or plots but I can't stop myself from reading all her works. This is testament to his/her talents as he/she obviously chooses not to take the easy road with fluffy, re-worked stories that has been overdone a million times. In this one, she has chosen to tell stories about older men (not a favourite trope of mine) and yes, I didn't enjoy any of them at all but God I respected the story, realism and emotion that she pulled. This is one of her works that to me; is like an important, Oscar winning movie that you don't enjoy because it's not fluffy or packed with enjoyable content, but a story that you force yourself to get through cos it deserves your attention.

That was one sad experience lol. It's not tragedy, but not the pink yaoi we all love.

"I love you", Utsugi kun", three words usually entailing an affection that can conquer one's attention but for Utsugi kun, its a pain for his unrequited love for 10 years made him to the present as a "moment of truth bridge" for these two despicable old men. Sad to listen but atleast his unrequited love for 10 years were ended in such a wrecking way.
Title itself is so meaningful for all of the characters received pain:
Despicable itself for Okuzuno sensei is weak enough to honestly convey his feelings to Yamashiro sensei, despicable itself for Yamashiro sensei is blind enough not to see the other side of Yamashiro' s affection to him leading his other lovers to be included in this disturbing relationship, it is despicable itself for the male/female lovers of Yamashiro sensei because they haven't love him uncondionally and being unveiled by temptations, and last despicable itself for Utsugi knows from the start that he will only be used as a connection for them..

Though if Yamashiro is honest enough from the start, from the middle and from the present till future. They won't end up in this DESPICABLE RELATIONSHIP.

Toxic relationship speaks for three men: Otohiko who love's his brother in law even though is already taken by his sister, Daigo on the other hand is the brother in law who doesn't know thathis bestfriend Otohiko carries an unrequited love for him while Masaki is the guy who loves Otohiko even though he knew that he is only a substitue for Daigo.

Heart wrenching but glad that at his old age, Otohiko realizes that Masaki weighs much than his unrequited love to Daigo. But i hope he had conveyed his resolutions to Masaki
WELL drawn with a realistic plot

Two stories, both about bizarre love triangles. In one, two schoolboys develop an unhealthy cat-and-mouse game of affections, which involves roping in third parties as bait. One of them manages, in a Psyche Delico kind of way, to rope in a third party who bites as well as he takes to being chewed. In the second, a man falls in love with his brother-in-law, who is afraid he used marriage as a way of binding himself to a man who refuses to be helped. After his death, the brother in law and a best friend reminisce, and it ends, in a Psyche Delico kind of way, poorly.

I find Psyche Delico most interesting in what she doesn't say, rather than what she actually puts in the mouths of her characters. This isn't "Choco Strawberry Vanilla" levels of fascinating and fresh three person dynamics, but ultimately it's one of the better fictional representations of what separates a crush from true love. The two professors/schoolboys in the first story are too afraid of rejection to have a loving, mutual relationship with each other, so (spoilers!) when the confession comes at the end, it doesn't branch off into "old men finding each other" comfort and understanding; instead, it terminates the relationship and causes Okuzono to pursue the next thing -- which just happens to be Utsugi, a guy who is too much like him and Yamashiro both for their own good. Utsugi, too, was most fascinated by Okuzono when Okuzono was at his darkest and most untouchable, i.e. most obsessed with Yamashiro, so one can only guess what the consummation of that relationship is going to look like, now that he finally has what he wants. You know that bit in bl manga where someone realizes, "I only loved you when you were in love with someone else"? That's it, that's the whole story.

The second half is interesting for the dissonant climax and conclusion. We're looking at three guys who keep settling for their second best because they think or know their first choice is out of reach, but it's a Penrose triangle of impossibility that feeds into itself: Masaki thinks Otohiko is only sleeping with him because he can't get Daigo, and Otohiko can't tell Masaki that he's using Daigo as a reason to sleep with him, because he really does love Daigo, and so on. An interesting enough set-up, but Psyche Delico balanced atmosphere with emotional development and slighted the latter to lean more heavily on the former.

Psyche Delico has proven herself as the queen of love triangles. They're all different and not trope. Will need a tissue for one of the stories, and call me crazy but I like the first love triangle. They will definitely never be bored. The 2nd was beyond sad, but it contained a major button pusher to me.

The fuck their messed up way of feeling love man just together already and yet another younger dude come in between them telling both of them about their behaviour and daily life after spending time with them , I mean it's new tbh but nobody is out there in this world who will love you for so long just to get rejected at their 50s lol still I liked them for some twisted reason!!!

Despicable love triangle story

utsugi !!! love him the very most. and for the plot. It’s weird how everyone feels bittersweet and unsatisfied but I feel satisfied, it’s honestly light hearted and there’s not much angst? (Also weird cuz when I feel bitter and unsatisfied with an ending of a manga everyone else feels happy and satisfied like whaaaa) even when I think about the love between the three is unequal as utsugi just joined them but he doesn’t mind at all so I won’t mind either hehe and the last chap was funny looool utsugi a switch or somethin we all saw that right? he a bottom at heart and I love him

Two separate stories involving love triangles. First one was two guys of similar age and a younger guy, second story was three guys all about the same age. Both stories were an interesting exploration of multi-year unrequited loves that never come to fruition, and love triangles that are somewhat ruinous. They're both really good tales, although the first one has a happier ending and is a lot more understandable. Lacking convo bubble directional ticks, it's really hard to tell who is talking in the second story so it's hard to understand who was who, which is extremely important to the story. If the second story had more clarity, I'd likely give this a 5/5.
