Nakumura shares the same last name with his classmate but even though they share a surname, they are complete opposites which is the cause of their nicknames, Cool and Dull Nakumura. They became friends when they realized that they are both closet gays. Hayato (cool Nakumura) has a secret fat fetish and a shitty personality while Kuzunari (Dull nakumura) is a virgin who likes a classmate out of his league.

Second volume ruined it

i love their dynamic, but all the sex and stuff fucking sucks, HOW ABOUT BE LIKE A REAL COUPLE WHO GOES ON A DATE AND WHATSOEVER, NOT JUST MOPE AROUND THE ROOM AND DO SEX ALL THE GOD DAMN TIME

Sorry, but having Hayato be sexually assaulted by his Ex was such an unpleasant place to take the story. It wasn't necessary at all for the emotional journey of the story, and having Kazunari and Hayato have sex when you could literally still see the wounds from the assault covering Hayato's face was not at all a good time. I could not have been more disappointed with the second volume.

wish they could've solved the conflict with talking things through instead of sex, but whatever they're happy so eh. Also could've gone without the sexual assault scene between Hayato and his psychobitch ex (seriously Kazunari should've beat him to death since he had the opportunity...) that scene made me really sad :( Overall the whole thing was really good though. A third volume would be nice... maybe a fourth as well...

I actually tried to like this one, but I just couldn't. After giving it some thought, the reason I couldn't like this was because Hayato. He's really an unlikable character, mostly because he's a condescending little SHIT and virgin shaming really pissed me off. *SPOILERS* In the second volume, after he and Kazunari become a couple he pushes Kazunari away rather than talk to him and his worries and fears. And even after almost getting raped he still continues play it off like it's nothing serious and mock Kazunari. And after that he lashes out at Kazunari and assume he would dump him if he told him the truth. He's making things more difficult for the both of them by not even trying to talk things out. I get that Hayato went through a lot of terrible experiences and fears he'll be abandoned again, but he knows Kazunari is a good person wouldn't do that. Being in a relationship should that you confide in your significant other and talk about whatever's going on. Trying to shoulder while being a condescending asshole is not how to go about the situation. Also there's nothing wrong with being a virgin. Japan you really need to stop this stigmatizing virgins in your mangas because it's just annoying and pisses me off!!! Also, why didn't we get to see Kazunari beat the SHIT out of the older Urabe? COME ON MAN, SHOW DON'T TELL!!! Bottomline this could've been better if it had likable characters and smart decisions.

Two school boys become best friends over a shared last name and the fact that they’re both secretly gay, but the one of the boys comes out in class and makes a move on the other boy. It’s refreshing to have both characters actually admit to being gay and not only gay for each other.

Omfg the author sucks everything just went downhill on volume 2. The author have the good opportunity to let urabe (older bro) to redeem himself and have closure on the uke. And for the 2 couples please....STOP FUCKING GODDAMIT HAVE A PROPER CONVERSATION! AUTHOR AT A TIME LIKE THIS WE DON'T NEED THE SMUT IF YOU JUST WANT ALL SMUT IN YOUR STORY THEN YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE WRITTEN A GAY PORN WITH PLOT

The flashback with him having sex with a girl was super random and that whole plotpoint about his older brother was extremely poorly executed. There was kinda no point in it being there. It basically only exposed Haruto's feelings for Kazunari, but that still could've happened anyway.

I just really wish it had had an effect on the story in any way at all.
