Fushigi Yuugi is the reason why I fell in love with anime.

One of the most romantic, beautiful and incredible mangas I've ever read.
I recommend reading. It is impossible not to like.

They could've stopped it when they made it to the real world and I would've been happy.
I probably should have stopped, but I was immensely hyped.
But now I am just like "Wow. That was long and totally unnecessary. The "Demon God" wanted to tear apart the love of two people across another dimension who no longer even wanted to summon this god and just did himself in. What a idiot."

Am I the only one who didn’t enjoy the manga as much as people hyped it up? Whoops

Its not as good as all the hype. I remember watching the anime but gave up on it cuz the plot just kept dragging on and on but i wanted to finish it so I decided to read the manga and I swear. Even the manga just keeps dragging on and on.

The first anime that I watched and for me it's still the best

This was my mom's favorite anime and my also first anime... So happy that I saw this randomly! Highly Recommended!!!

I watched the anime a long way back too.

I think it should’ve ended at part one. Part two was really good, but it was kinda unnecessary and felt like a drag. Made it hard to finish.

Mc got teleported into the world in her book and fell in love with the ml. Used the power of love to defeat every and all her enemies.
