Terrible, godawful, cringey pace on this one. 90+ pages for 5 lines of dialogue.. Inside the mc's head..

I feel like this sort of read can be a hit or miss for people; I’m just glad it was an amazing read for me. The MC had her moments where I wanted to strangle her for her sporadic annoying moments but overall, her character was written well. She was very kind and learned to be empathetic to even ghosts she had a bias against, and she chose to live a life where she knew she’d be happy living. I think that’s a good theme to take away from this because, despite knowing she’d live a normal, longer and healthier life without Damon (especially after he left her, therefore resulting in her not seeing the ghosts for a short period), she chose him because that’s what made her the happiest. Quality of life— she was here for a good time, not a long time. The story itself definitely was different from what I usually read, and I sobbed a bit at the end. It was a fitting and pretty realistic ending. It wouldn’t make much sense to end it with them living happily ever after when in reality, there was no fathomable way Liz could live on with Damon or the others.

The epilogue gave great insight in to their domestic life whilst also addressing the inevitable we as readers expected (because before the epilogue, we could only infer what their life would look like after that). Now, with Damon’s treatment of his son, I would like to think he did love him. In some weird ghost-like way, he really did. But I think he loved and cherished Liz more. She gave him new reason to live or explore life as a ghost, and I think that change in his existence was more impactful to him than what was portrayed. She’d always be seen in a different light than the rest of the world to him.

After Liz died and Damon decided to leave his son, it sort of made sense to me, considering that and all things. Liz can’t quite protect herself, so Damon, with the incentive of being in love with her, adapted to society and domestic life. Noah is capable of protecting himself from ghosts, so maybe his father didn’t see a reason to stick around in that house anymore. Domestic life wasn’t the kind of life he had been living up until meeting Liz again. His natural habit is the mountain, and his son is connected to him anyway. Too bad we’ll never find out what happened to Noah though. I wonder with him being part human that he might have lived a normal human life expectancy. Otherwise, yeah, too bad Damon wasn’t that invested in his son’s life, but it’s pretty obvious Liz has and always will be his #1.

I've waited for character growth from the mc, but there still isnt any? She's kind of an asshole still and she lies all the time! Her personality itself hasn't proved to have much depth and its not good at all! She is spoiled rotten and it irritates the hell outta me. In the future does she grow into a decent human? If not I'm gonna stop reading...cause even if the author is trying to make her a tsundere they are failing at the dere part

The ending is shocking, how can the author do that to is This was an amazing webtoon, ngl but damon pretty damn good UwU

Came to read this here because webtoon has just implemented the daily pass system for this series. Which i was currently binge reading too. Pretty pissed off with webtoon for their new feature. If they needed more money i wish they'd legit done anything else. As a binge reader, this feature couldn't be any worse.

I'm cryingggg. saddest ending everr

Somehow this exceeded my expectations over and over again. The epilog gave me a few tears and I couldn't put down this story. I think I'll think of this story for a long time...

This is beautiful written and it's made me little tears that you know that everyone has to die one day it's got me thinking about this stuff we never will know. It's made me feel like I shouldn't be afraid me dying and enjoy my time because life is too short. I love this book and definitely my favorite to read. I maybe come back read these when I am older I have time to reread them.

Read this in webtoon but I’m putting it in my list here so I don’t lose it. It’s such a beautiful piece of art and I love the different art styles when it comes to the main character and the creepy ass monsters it just shows how talented the artist is.


Also love how when he first met (when he climb through the window) it made since why he question what he should do once you learned more about him.

The final made me cry
