I do enjoy an old manga every once in awhile and this was a good story.

A young man working with his brothers at a liquor store in a small, gossip-ridden town is the last to learn that his former childhood friend (and unrequited crush) is coming back from abroad after six years. A sweet and remarkably straightforward reunion story with some refreshing elements thrown in the mix as well.

Its strength is the interactions between our main pair; it stumbles a bit in that it has far too many side characters. I appreciate that the manga is trying to capture the vibe of a small community, but given how prominent they are, the side characters ought to have been a bit more distinctive and better developed, interesting in their own right. As it is, their interruptions become a little distracting (except the owner of the tobacco shop; she is perfect). All in all, a sweet if somewhat unremarkable story that is as pleasant as it is harmless.

Just too convenient how whenever they tried to have a proper conversation/kiss, someone just happen to interrupt...

No overused yaoi tropes like ''I'm jealous of anyone, girl or boy, that you speak with, or that you've ever known", or ''I like him, it's his fault, he should know my feelings are hurt so I act like a tsundere ass". I loved every character with no exception and the adorableness of the MC... !!! Really, there wasn't a moment where I wasn't smiling ear to ear; totally a first. PLUS! their lips and smiles are so sexy!
