i don’t know if i’ll ever read this, i can tell it’s gonna be so fluffy i’m gonna diee. hehe. anyhow the sweetness gives me nausea so maybe i’ll come back here if i’m ever too tipped over on the dark side
A story about the owner of an odds-and-ends toy shop who has loved the work of an author of children's books finds himself providing a place for this author to stay. This is an unusual entry in the BL genre mostly because of its spare and whimsical art style. The story is framed by a children's story, and has interludes with a love story between the shop owner's pet hedgehog and an injured crow. It's almost unbearably precious and very light. It's worth checking out for the art style alone, although I have to say that I found the framing story and the interjected saga of the pet hedgehog considerably more interesting than the human narrative they were meant to augment. Recommended if you want a palate cleanser and have a high tolerance for a very twee story.
