Despite being the protagonist to the series, Isana Yashiro met a very abrupt end in K Project, and his supposed death was quite overshadowed by the Red King's. Kuro's characterization was quite a bit sweeter than how he was depicted in the anime, but you can tell this doujin came from the heart. The ending of this piece really gets to a part of Kuro that the anime really didn't show very well because of the very flashy way in which HOMRA mourned their king. Kuro was deeply hurt that Shiro is gone. Using that as the main concept, this doujin unfolds to should love and loss felt in every way (for the father-figure, the master, the lover). Although some of the visual metaphors are obscured by the somewhat inaccurate characterization, the 80 page read ended better than expected. Very heartfelt. A fun read.
This is so fucking painful... Lonely shiro who wants someone to stay with him and kuro who's supposed to kill him finds themselves unable to do anything but hold to each other IM NOT CRYING... U ARE
In a series of flashbacks and stream-of-consciousness scenes, Kuroh remembers his time with Shiro and reflects on all they shared and all they might have had–and may still be able to have.
