I'm going to let this marinate for like a long time then I will read it again once it has more chapters or I can just wait for it to end so I can read it all it once
Everybody loves Yvonne. Theodore, the first prince has a bad reputation cuz the new empress is power hungry and sends a ton pf assassins which he promptly kills. So the fl is friends with the second prince who is a soft boy, who falls for her ig. And then the fl saves the first prince in a non-specific manner, they bond, but ya know circumstances, so they have to seperate as the first prince promises to find her again. Meanwhile the fl's whole family is murdered for treason and she goes into hiding at house Alexander (?) And there the young earl falls in love with her, but due to family circumstances she is only allowed to hide there as a male apprentice knight enslaved to their adoptive daughter who wants to be empress. So the earl is just friends with her, but he also murders the empress who was apparently responsible for the murder of her family and also murders his own father ig. So they vibe there until the now emperor Theodore visits and he notices her, pretends not to recognise her at first, cuz there is a curse on her that if somebody says her true name then they die, but thats quickly taken care of, meanwile she becomes the emperors knight. All truth comes out, they are in love. But she still has to clear her family name before they can be oficially together. But oh no, the emperor gets amnesia, prolly due to the earl, who feels like the fl was stolen from under him. So now the emperor treats her poorly and thinks she is an imposter. Meanwhile the girlie she was enslaved to goes for a political marriage with the emperor now to just become head of house alexander ig, and he accepts, cuz she promises him to deliver the real Yvonne. Meanwhile the fl is sad, still working as his knight, trying to trigger his memory.
To be honest I’ll be mad if she just forgives him, when his memories come back best outcome would be: cold or emotionless face “glad to see you recover YOUR HIGHNESS, but too much has happened and only time will heal what you have done. I’m glad your back but I need to focus on me”
And then she focus on work, training and herself giving the time she needs, the cool FL vibes that she gave us in the beginning needs to come back, cool and collected, while the ML goes on a trip to finding 1000 ways to apologise and redime himself.
Even so I don’t think things should go back to the way they were, at least not right away, cuz that would mean our FL doesn’t love herself enough and we like confident, powerful and smart woman’s!
