Comments of Negai Kanae Tamae

This mangaka's work continues to surprise me and this manga is great which is let down by the substandard drawing which you tend to get used to. The story of the ex-pianist, now baker Kinukawa and Fukami, a Yakuza.
Thier attraction was brought by the sound of music; one playing and other listening and it escalated to involve drugs, kidnapping, rape, violence and substance dependence!

The point in which Fukami became a maniac due to his drug dependence was powerful. It was sad to see how drugs can be portrayed as an evil that can not be wiped away with withdrawal drugs!

When Kinukawa screen that Fukami will live a happy life and will be a happy man was a turning point for this character to step up his game and take initiative and rush to the man he craves to prevent him from committing murder! I loved that part!

The only part which I was not keen on was the finale! I wanted Fukami to beat his addiction. I wanted to succeed with his own ability. However, the moment when he woke up with no memory, it was the end of him as a character! However, When his bodyguard cried to God wishing his ex-boss happiness, I leaned towards accepting the amnestic Fukami!

Few things were not explained and some characters were not punished like that old rapist who raped Fukami and injected him with drugs! Fukami is having flashbacks so when will he regain his memories? His anxiety and attitude towards sharp object, unexpected movement, and planes are all factors to consider when dealing with somebody who is emotionally unstable like the of Fukami!

i love this manga, the plot story is so great

I feel bad for the yakuza uke dude cuz everyone is literally aiming for his ass… like the seme dude first of all expects the uke not to kill ppl and gets surprised when the uke gets shot like bitch what did u expect… and he fucks the uke knowing he was already raped and knowing the yakuza dude is traumatized… like just wtf

It's great, but I wish I could see if they became a couple or just a friend relationship.

God with that build up it needed a better ending

Kinukawa was a second class pianist and he occasionally played in small clubs. He had a fairly loyal audience, a man who always listened to his piano and after a while, he was attracted by the man's admiration for his piano. One time, he accidentally spilt water onto the man Fukami's jacket. As a result, Fukami's subordinate stabbed Kinukawa's hand right through. Kinukawa then worked at his father's coffee shop as he liked making cakes and Fukami came. He then told Kinukawa that if he could make cakes there were not sweet, he would come. The next time Fukami came, he told Kinukawa that he bought a piano and would like him to teach him how to play. Kinukawa agreed and he was happy teaching Fukami, but teaching a yakuza piano was more than what it seemed.

I love all of these mangaka's work primarily because of how well paced and logical the stories are.
About this one: Yakuza themed + relatively realistic => depressing stuff..... Also, the last chapter is very confusing..... is it that the two of them running a cake shop together is a dream that they are sharing while Yuusuke is still just a piano teacher or is it that the confused mess of a chapter that is a mix of past, present and future is all a dream that the Hikaru of the cake shop is having while slowly regaining his memories.... I guess we'll never know.....

I couldn't read it till the end. I really liked the story up to the first volume. The moment the old geezer was shown and rape and shit i really lost interest. So yeah.there were other things i didn't like as well so yeah not really something I like sadly since i really like this author's sruff
