Well, that's the way of real life. I've ever seen many people couldn't stop loving someone and spent 10+ yrs or even whole life FOR NOTHING, tried to change their lovers' bad habits. In this manga, it seems like even having an immortal life is still not enough to change someone.
➽» I hope this manga can make some readers having a inkling when to give up before it's too late.

«✿» Ch.2 The Komukai Household’s circumstances - Souta, an elementary school student living with his father and father's partner, starts to question his family life after a sex education class in school.

Ch. 1, God of poverty comes to live with lazy man who drives him crazy, then god of poverty leaves, comes back as shinigami.
Ch. 2, Slice of life, outsider POV about a child contemplating his fathers' relationship. The part where dad's BF "turns invisible" when other people come over.
Ch. 3, Guy is born, given long string of longevity names and lives at least two hundred years before meeting the shinigami from chapter 1 while working as a host. He MIGHT be the reincarnation of the first chapter lazy ass but I'm not 100%.

Feel sad for the shinigami to settle like this with a lazy good for nothing who just laze around and waited for people to feed him!! He is damn fortunate to have someone so devoted to him for centuries..

This was very different and unique and confusing but beautiful

Chap. 1 & 3.1-3.4: It's story is unique and quite deep that I actually enjoyed rereading. Poverty god started living with a horrible, useless yet pitiful guy. Is there a chance for this guy to change? Who knew but by his death he never did. Time-skip, modern times. An immortal man who is now a host sought the shinigami (and his death) for years but found love instead. And obviously.... THIS GUY IS THE REINCARNATION OF THE FIRST LAZY-ASS MAN! Now we see how he suited this era where you are able to earn money by using honeyed words and spin women around. And like the useless jerk that he is, it's befitting to die by getting stabbed by a woman. So shinigami arrived and his long name mysteriously resurrected him as if it's a powerful sutra... that has sustained his life for two decades. Now, the two immortal, lonely men will never be alone again.

Ch.2: a very nice (and rare) slice of life story as told in the perspective of the son growing up figuring out the relationship between his dad and dad's 'friend'

1- abt a lazy guy that never works and has a different excuse every day. But one day a god of poverty visits him and he starts working and buys the poverty guy fish.

2- so this kid lives with his father and his fathers “friend (guy)” i didn’t understand the story that well but i think he found out that his father was actually dating that friend and so one day he comes back with a boy and his father asks “a friend?” And he says “no, my boyfriend” LMAO LOVED IT

3- abt an immortal and the god of death. Idk what the extras were this was kinda confusing specially since im slow

A man who lived more than 100 years , is waiting for his death . He met the Shinigami whom he once saw smiling at him , and was trying to meet him again from that day . A bittersweet , soft story . I loved it

This story is so unique, I find myself coming back to it from time-to-time

Very interesting.

Ch1: I'm actually very confused, Idk what to feel. I feel bad for Bin-chan, but also for Yohei. They really love each other, yet I guess they can't really show it. That's what made me love this story.
Ch2: Now this is unique, it was my first time reading something in this genre that's from a child's pov. Such a very good read.
Ch3-3.3: Bin-chan is back! Now i'm glad that he found someone to spend he's whole life with.

Oh my,the first story was bittersweet TwT the second one was very cute xD Like father like son! And the third one ahhh
