I honestly really licked this. At first I thought the emperor was beyond redemption and simply needed to die (or that this would end up another stockholm syndrome story) but I loved Heun’s unwavering will in the beginning to get away. All the main characters from Heun to the head eunuch were writen with grate detail which allowed us to get to know them and their personalities. I also licked how the emperor learned for his past mistakes and how we ,through Heun, got to see how his mind works and what the twisted solution he use to think of to solve his problems. I think this insight into his character and both us and Heun getting to see him learn how to better communicate and regulate his emotions really allowed for us to better accept his redemption and be happy at the end when they where together. The fucking bastard brother(and first emperor) should have died a slow painful death tho, in the past life, this life and the next
The last thing I have to say is. THE EMPEROR BETTER LEAVE MY SON ALONE BECAUSE THE LITTLE PRINCE DOES NOT DESERVE ALL THESE STRAYS HES CATCHING
Un architecte qui a vécu l’enfer avec l’empereur est réincarné 100 ans plus tard et retrouve la réincarnation de l’empereur. L’histoire va-t-elle se répéter ?
OMGOMGOMG I FOUND THIS AFTER 1 YEAR OR SOOOOO AFTER READING IT OMEEEEGGGG
So like this one is definitely a solid 9/10 I REALLY LOVE HOW THE EMPEROR REALIZE THINGS AND HOW HE SACRIFICES FOR THE BOT IN THE LATE CHAPS 9/10 INDEED!!!
Very rocky road this one, but if you think about it, the emperor felt like the past life memories weren't his and he didn't fully remember it all, despite accepting it was him and taking the blame for his past life actions, he still needed the head eunuch to tell him very basic things about the past so he was truly a different person. I can blame most of the things he did on this being a time piece and on him being an emperor - hence too spoiled to take a no -, but also knowing a limit on where it'd be too far. I love the little kid, so I would've enjoyed a time skip, a second season focused on him and similar stuff, they grew to be a very cute couple by the end of it so I would also like this see their dynamic after a few years. I looove the little servant girl, the characters are very enjoyable over all
