A sweet little love story about a sensitive young man who has harboured a crush on his sempai from school since they were on the same baseball team together. Sempai, who has been frozen in his growth since seriously taking on the duty of raising his sister, is slowly waking up to the shift from romantic love to actual investment in the future of another person and how much it costs, which makes for a very interesting and well-structured story. No villains, here. There are small conflicts about social propriety, but the main argument which needs resolution is rooted in the differences between automatic emotional reactivity and self-realization, which makes for a splendid story about maturation and adulthood.

Arimura spoils his little sister but he is concerned about her future so he gets her a tutor. The tutor is a old kouhai from their baseball days in high school named Itou. The sister is pleased since Itou is good looking but Itou is the silent type. Arimura felt bad for not remembering Itou since their was 4 guys with that name but after hearing more about Itou, arimura remembers him. Itou was a lot shorter then.

The couple has a senpai kouhai relationship, now adults. Uke falls in love with seme in highschool, while they both were in the baseball club. Seme hired uke as a tutor for his sister, who falls in love with uke. Seme comes to know uke has feelings for him eventually, confessing to uke, have a lover's fight, get together again, go for a vacation in a resort and gets the blessings from a deity to live happily forever together.

The ukes acceptance of the possibility of unrequited feelings as well as what the seme had said about the uke during the meet-up out of jealousy are the two things that made me absolutely bitter. I love the way seme gradually came to understand his feelings as well as how his relationships with his friend and sister helped him and yousuke. I just wish he talked more of his reasoning of insulting the uke in front of the others. I don’t think it should be so easily overlooked. Anyway, the ending at the onsen was adorbs. A cute story overall.
