So, cute story, right - but, can we be honest with each other?
***SPOILERS AHOY***
It all felt like it had an inconsistent pace when it came to building and rolling out the characters and personalities. It had a great start: BJ, lightly jaded on meeting people, but finds streaming an outlet. JS, struggling with a mystery case of ED. And bam - plot.
A decent number chapters, but it doesn’t really feel like the most was made in executing the story. Wish being a BJ was more of a variable, wish we got to see more of Hyun’s background align with his personality, wish we saw more of JSs narcissistic tendencies and saw more about him learning to humble himself or even wish we knew more about JS, in general! His character development took a backseat somewhere along the way.
Idk, just loose ends. But, either way, cute story? Great illustration? Undoubtedly.
Yaoi, School Life, BJ, Comedy, Drama It’s good if you want a shorter read, but it’s nothing special. It’s not too deep or dramatic. It does however, have two great couples, that are really cute together.
The art is fantastic. Clean, proportion, pretty and overly satisfying. A lot of cliches and comic relief panels in between angst. This writing style always takes me out of the plot and makes the story feel less serious and if your aiming to read a comfy story with sexy scenes it works, but the story plot felt like of tried to make it self serious and comedic and erotic at the same time, with a lack of characterization depth and storytelling. I like the golden retriever, pitiful rich boyfriend trope. Reminded me of Tamaki from OHSHC. I like the BJ setting I just wish it wasn’t thrown of the story plot as soon as they became boyfriends, it was so impactful in the beginning.. now that I think of it, as soon as the characters started dating the story and plot just kinda disappeared it felt a little like I was reading two separate stories. Overall all I’ll give it an ok rating!
When I first read this I had to quit cuz of how much second hand embarrassment I got from this. Does remind me of bj Alex but character designs are way better and uke doesn't have really thick eyebrows. It's been a year since I dropped it but lll try to read again and see how I like it this time
Cute and great smut scenes. At first I thought I would like the story because I thought it would be based on a narcissistic Seme and black mail. But I was just a narc Seme… I honestly wanted to see more of siyoon*? Or the older friend who was a dom bottom…. Because yes. The bdsm
pretty good. i wished to see their relationship a bit more outside of the steam (although i will say i do love a cp who loves their sex with all their “yes”’s lmaoooo) but it was alright overall. im not one for cheesy so lowk i was eating it up when they were “rivals” tho it wasnt rlly rivalry but i like me some tension before they acc get together
this is the FIRST i have liked the male lead so much like ???? Even if there was no romance, his character alone was SO interesting. Like I love the mc, but goddamn the ml's personality even since he was a child is so cute?!?! His devotion to be the best and not turn psycho batsht crazh when he fails omgg, so cutee
