137. I like that there's actually smart moves here and not just typical villains of pride whack bam. But it's so slow. little plots happening but I do like it just slow so binge isn't a go. ML is persistent. FL is cunty Power couple. Not bad for now we'll see as I continue.

C323 the 7th prince was adopted by the Empress. They were having a happy family meal together and I guess the suspicious Empress Dowager had to put attention to herself and interrupted the happy meal with her so called fainting because of Aunt Ping's dead body. Note the people who had negative reactions: Concubine Xian (7th's bio mom), 4th Prince (7th's bio bro), 8th Prince (son of a dancer), Empress Dowager.

More suspicions about Empress Dowager:
Connection with the soldier who shot an arrow on MC's brother during war. Strained Old friendship with MC's maternal grandmother and a mysterious foreign friend. Wu Miao Nanny Duo being in the Cining Palace of the Empress Dowager's for many years but only used the Gu worm very recently before using her life to threatened her way out of the palace. This way the Gu wasn't really that threatening for her. Another thing was her sudden interest in getting close to the Empress' daughter Princess Fuqing and pushing for them to see the lantern festival when she never really put interest on it before and the maid who committed suicide after failing to push Princess Fuqing down the building. The maid was the only maid to have accompanied the princesses when they went to see the Empress Dowager. Also her adopted daughter Princess Rongyang "coincidentally" met a Wu Miao person that uses Gu worms to assassinate the MC's mother and almost killing MC's grandmother.


Suspicious events to keep note:
- the MC's mention of having a twin sister or a close forgotten relative because of the huge resemblance to the Ex Saintess of Wu Miao Ah Sang.
- the reaction of the MC's maternal and paternal grandmother after the mention of a "relative" that could cause said resemblance.
- the prophecy of the Wu Miao which mentions the 7th Prince.
- the prophecy which affected the 7th Prince's life and which put him out of the Palace after birth.
- Empress Dowager's negative and suspicious behaviour during the lantern festival after Fuqing was out of sight and a scream was heard. And her expression when the Empress decided to take 7th Prince as 1st Prince.
- Why was Fuqing targeted with her eyes with Gu worm and now with the Nanny Duo out of the picture the lantern festival assassination attempt
- the missing Northern Princess who the 2 warriors from the North were looking for who went to Zhou


Things I'm looking forward to:
- MC's 1st sister and the Yongchang Young Master turned Master after the consecutive passing of their parents. She looked at him blushing lol. Handsome dude kyaaaaa
- the downfall of the Concubine Xian and 4th Prince
- 8th Prince get fcked if he messes with our baby Ajin and Asi

I finished reading chapter 303

So many characters to love. I find myself liking the subordinates more than the main characters the more I read.

Read up to Chapter 322.

Yeah the ml and FL are amazing and cool and all that. But I stayed for Er'niu and the king. Er'niu is so funny and honestly the best sidekick anyone could ask for. I also love the drama loving king. It's the first time I've read something like this. I feel almost all the characters are unique including our main leads.

Very good story set in ancient China.
MC dies and goes back in time to relive her life, from where she takes revenge and tries to get a good life. Contrary many of the same type of story, this is not focused on being the meanest or most arrogant. Mc stays humble, and the story is told with great humour, even after ch 200. Some detective stories are included, and all in all a joyful read.

Wow, just wow. Couldn't believe a manhua could entertain me this much, we all know how bad most manhuas is but this one is not included. The plot is well written, pretty art style, not too much excessive annoying chibi art and actually focusing on story plot, FL is zuper pretty and smart, ML shameless and idle not overbearing shit and actually pretty cute, even tho there's lots of schemes but i enjoyed it every bit of it lmaoi like it.
