Meh disappointment with the story

Looks like the start to a love triangle but ok.
My bet is that Rui is gonna die in some kind of self sacrifice for one of the two (or both) holding back Maya or some danger, and that's how the other two, Jo and Yuki, get together but idk

It started off so wholesome and then it got so deep. Okay damn. Not fluff from ch 9.
