Where did that skill come from? The awakening??

Was there some build up I missed? I know my memory is shit but did I just forget something?? Are they on some deadline to end this story in 2 chapters or smth?????

I don't even feel sad, just...weirded out. The pacing here is so bad, like seriously zero build up - it (the build up) could have happened in THIS fight, but give us something!

Internal dialogue, some flashback, more emotion from BOTH of them- SOMETHING that doesn't make this "death" feel so cheap ( ,,⩌'︿'⩌,,)

What happened to the [fairly] cool headed Ian? He's acting so out of character that it feels like this isn't Ian but his brown hair teammate~

Yes, stress can do wonders to change a person and how they behave but Ian has been shown to be a character that has a brain, going straight into panic mode just because of a stupid sponsor is not something the Ian we know would do.
My problem with this is Ian COULD act like this, BUT we didn't see the progression of his anxiety and stress take over him, all we got was that sponsor segment jump cut to his model offer being taken away and now this- there's not enough "build up" to allow us to suspend our disbelief that he could REASONABLY act this way.
Where is our Deus ex machina: the ghost (why the heckity heck do the two reporters look so similar), his godly luck, the grim reaper (for personal reasons), his rich parents??

TLDR: Someone has taken over Ian's body, and that person is a lil anxiety ridden unthinking bitch (sorry lol), but Ian could act this way if it was paced and SHOWN properly to see he's not OOC. I miss the grim reaper- go whoop that ghost's butt he's slacking!! Whoop Ian's butt too since he's being OOC!!!
Honestly if they did "it was all a dream" I wouldn't be mad since they already fucked Ian's character up. (;; ◉‿◉)
