I usually don't read manga that don't have romance in them but I definitely love this one. It has an amazing plot that leaves me wanting more. Can't wait until the author updates.
A girl woke up in a strange world of tall skyscrapers. She has to find a way to survive in this strange world that has crazy mask wearing people killing anyone without a mask.
I would like to give the manga 5 stars but the ending was in my opinion horrible. As someone else already said, I think the autor rushed and wanted to complete the manga as fast as possible. It had so much potential, which was completely thrown away.
50: sniper man meets the girl 79: sniper recalls when boy met him (his real brother) 104: sniper washing his face 111: sniper mask's coolness has white feather mask swooning 114: white feather mask fell for sniper 119: sniper mask says something that reminds MC of her brother (who is sniper's real brother) 121: yo she says he's not hot but he's hot right?? 151: more on the brother, he tries to stab himself w a pen but the masks are faster 161: they got the brother to look at the code 197: brother x sniper mask face off 204: so… author resolved n j made aikawa the plot mover? 222: white feather finds the brother cute 259: what an unfulfilling end bruh
Interesting concept and decent art but let down by a story that reads like it was created by a 10-year-old. The author has serious planning and attention span issues because no plot thread lasts longer than 10 chapters. As soon as they get bored of a storyline, the MCs run into some deus ex machina that resolves the problem in 2 panels and they move on.
At one point, the author writes themselves into a corner where the main chars are facing the final boss. Obviously the author didnt want the story to end at that point, because at the climax of the battle, the protagonist spontaneously learns to teleport and ERASES HERSELF FROM THE PLOT. I sincerely wish I was joking, but she literally disappears and the next chapter we just start a new arc.
At another point, after a big battle our protagonists are beaten up. Unfortunately the author killed off the doctor character for emotional weight a few chapters before this, so their solution is to retcon and entirely new NPC character in who is literally introduced as "oh, you're here to heal us." And NO other plot.
The editor also needs to please tell the author that ending every other chapter with a nondetailed shadow sneaking up on our protagonists and a "behind them! Who is this new player?!" is NOT compelling storywriting - I swear half of the cast is first introduced as a nondescript shadow spying on the mains chars
The concept is great and unique. Though the ending was....not what I expected. I didn't think it would end so abruptly since they haven't reached their goal.
Hate this manga. It’s the culmination of what makes me cringe in anime culture. Fetishization of minors, subtle incest (kissing the ID), why are they always so obsessed with their siblings? I came here to see some badass fighting but all I see are panty shots and ecchi. Characters don’t really act realistically either. Ruins the immersion and they’re so extremely 2D. Premise is interesting, but the rationale of the characters ruins it for me.
