I should have read the comments before I read this. I just spent hours of my life wasted. I hated this. This was literally nothing but backstory. Why the fuck are the main characters even in love? The mcs aren’t even the mcs. Are they even in love? I didn’t feel it one bit. All I saw was they found replacements of past lovers in each other which is sad and messed up. Just I’m so sad I wasted time on this. The best thing about this was the sister and her lesbian lover. Everything else was just a fuck for all. I’m so disappointed. I had put off reading this bc of the art and I had to zoom in and when it first started I was all oh cute a bl artist and a baker, bullshit, this was angsty highway. This did have potential but something went wrong and it just never got back into track got too focused on the wrong part of the story. Too much backstory and it ended before the main story ever got started.
Honestly, at the first few chapters, I loved it! Very cute, but interesting. They really did switch up the plot ALOT, to the point that it became SOO COMPLICATED. By the middle I was already disappointed, and by the end I was even more disappointed. Everything feels so rushed, and it doesn’t make sense. How they magically fell for each other. There wasn’t any proper communication between the main character and the baker. More than half the chapters were just flashbacks of the main character and the baker. Not even with THEM. I seemed more invested in the main characters relationship with his ex, and the bakers relationship with his special friend, rather than the main character and the baker. The whole story plot is a mess, and kept making me think, where is this going? It’s going in so many different areas my brain can’t keep up. And his sister? CONFUSING. Anyways, I’d give this 1 star. A waste of my time. It could have been better. The only good thing out of this is that the baker is really cute though. If you’re looking for something that isn’t complicated and won’t leave you confused, and has a lot of romance between the two main characters, this ain’t it chief.

GoongHa & SunHwa date because they both remind each other of their first loves. - SunHwa's ex-BF, JinKyo-sunbae's overly possessive & aggressive which also caused his former lovers trouble. Because of his bad habit, the low life Plagiarize got the chance to get rid of SunHwa after plagiarized his graduation project.. - SunHwa with long hair looks just like GoongHa's first love. I have very mixed feelings about this. At the start I like how it diverted from a typical love story with the neighbor. But that’s all. The backstories made all of mls look like assholes which made me angry when mc went back to them. Then there was a large unexpected time skip which explained nothing and all of a sudden everything is fine. Also mc looked like mls ex like identical wtf? Then there were extra chapters on other people which I did not care for. I am disappointed, I enjoyed a previous work of the author so it makes me sad.
All over the place, centered on the past, barely addressed the present which was supposed to be the main storyline. It started off really good too ... it doesn't look like the author knew where it was going and it ended so suddenly with no explanation - such an unsatisfying read, waste of time
I'm putting this in "already read" because I don't want to read it by mistake lol. I, personally, don't like it. It started good but went weird after, it's kinda suspicious? Well, it's not my thing.
!Don't be lured in by the title! I thought I was gonna be reading a fluffy BL but nah. That took a full 87° turn.
I get all the "I'm so confused" comments. The flashbacks were poorly placed. The pacing was kinda fast to follow. And the characters hard to keep up with. Also didn't like how they glossed over the fact that the top's half-sister scarred the bottom. Like, c'mon. That wasn't a redeeming arc. I hate her. I wanted more of the MCs relationship. There's a lot of room for their relationship. I honestly wasn't interested in the stories of the side characs. They were alright but all those chapters could've been allocated for the main couple.
Still, I am glad about the fact that he wasn't seeing someone else in him (you gotta guess who's who coz if I drop names it's spoilers.). Overall, it's an alright read but can't be over mid.
It was ok but there was barely any screen time of the actual couples relationship and they ending was just ok. Also from around 40 ish and on after the story ends it goes into a side story that didn't interest me.
Don't get me wrong the story is good but a lot of the story focused on past relationships. I didn't like that. The couple's are really nice but too much dwelling on the past led to a confusing ending. Ending was too rushed.
