The story was crazy and the time skip made me so confused for like a long time, most of the ending I didn't really understand but that's partly my fault due to the fact I skipped a lot of it (just the part with that weird ex )
To say I didn't like it would be a lie but I also didn't love it, it was Okey at the beginning but let me tell you that the romance was the bare minimum, they got into a love "that is strong than anything" in like a few chapters of they fkng, I knew a lot of emotional engage between their ex's and them but not between the principal pair, it was like ??? I'm seeing the trauma but not the feelings that made them surpass it, it was like 1 chapters of them "falling in love" to no say fkng, and the rest of 45 chapters of their ex's, all the characters in here are losers tbh, they never spoke out loud their feelings and never acknowledged their actions nor their mistakes, all of them saw another person in their actual partners and they never spoke about it at all.... but honestly, it was a fast reading. A good 3.5/5
Not my cup of tea, the story was focused on the side characters and the backstory rather than the main couple. All the main characters did was project their trauma on each other
If You Are Wondering If You Should Read This... (rated more like a 4.5 but rounded uppp)
this was one of the very first webtoons i read coming from purely manga and it is one that i come back to. it starts more lighthearted and then goes into deeper themes of relational intricacies, which of course, are often not easy. it's got mainly yaoi with a tiny bit of yuri too. it's a real good read and well thought out story... you hafta be mostly awake and not dropping your device on your face trying to read it before bed, lol, or you will miss stuff.
the real rounded sweetness of tying up the whole story comes in the Sidestories of "and the People Left Behind," (starts at 46.2) where you get to see behind some of the actions of other characters that help make sense of why they did those things. people who you thought were horrible are actually not so much, and others turn out to be more "villainous." because if you stop at the last chapter before, it leaves you with a different, sort of unfinished feeling, so i highly recommend going to the very end. chapters 54 to 61 has the cutest, hottest mini end story that could be read on its own with my fave couple.
*for those getting confused about who is who because two characters DO look very similiar, this is intentional by the authur to show the headspace view of the character thinking about one person shifting into another... so you gotta view it like a changing movie mind screen of someone's thoughts or it's confusing af.
Super cute manga at the begging but the artist made the love interest (black hair) interest loook like the other’s love interest ex towards the end and (spoiler) they go into a fight because the black hair ml was upset because he found out how much he looked like blond ml ex so making the black hair lead look like his ex completely defeats the purpose of their fight because honest as the reader I was so confused why his ex (not really the ml) was screaming at the blond Ml to stay….
