Summary: Asshole male lead husband is a serial cheater, abusive, total scum of the Earth and Maddy his doormat wife who bore him two children that he hates. This cunt has been sleeping around with his clients as a divorce lawyer and Maddy stays at home and grits her teeth. Asshole husband goes to Puerto Rico? to vacay, runs into bandits, almost dies after being stabbed, and somehow comes back and does a 180. Cries and boohoo I love you Maddy all along, please don't leave my trash-ass for Griff, your kind handsome canon fodder colleague who potentially would treat you right and love you more. Maddy accepts him back even if she's a little wary. The end.

Max is absolute garbage. The entire family sucks for knowing full well about his infidelities and apart abuse because it’s witnessed by them personally, and they don’t help Maddy. She’s a good mother, she take’s care of the house and the grumpy grandfather seems to favor her at least she’s the only one who can handle him and the only one he tolerates I suppose, other than loving Max and David…so because of this they don’t help her? Maddy should have chosen Griff and gotten out for her kids. Griff is who she should have chosen.

I will say this one the trust is still being worked on two he know he was stupid and a ass and fixed that part of him self.

A non-ending is not the least bit satisfying, but honestly, that is the best this story could offer. You couldn't get much of a worse ML. He claims to love the FL, but gets his satisfaction from causing her pain, knowing the only reason he CAN cause such pain is because she loves him... that is, her pain is the proof she loves him, so he wants to see her in pain as much as possible! Can you get more twisted than that? So by the end, she HASN'T forgiven him, in fact at one point she tells him she CAN'T forgive him, but she IS planning to stay with him, for the sake of the children and the one on the way, and because - through everything she... somehow... managed to keep a love for him (although I can't quite figure out how). SO, I guess I would call the end vaguely hopeful? I mean, if the change sticks, they now have the building blocks for a truly loving relationship, but I was left with the feeling, for his part, it is going to be a long-term project.

The story was good and the premise for the whitewashing of the ML is also cool, but the book needed at least like 50 pages more of drawings to make a better ending.

Maybe the mangaka didn't do a good administration of the spaces because the manga has a good narration, but the ending feels so rushed giving a feeling of emptiness.

Anyway. Good story. Rushed ending.
