Not bad, but thank heaven he lightened up with his "schedule" and "rules." I knew a guy like that when I was in the military. He loved his family, but felt that discipline and regimentation were the most important tools in running life. His wife stuck around, but his 2 kids counted the days until they could move out of the house. He couldn't understand it. I tried to explain that his kids felt like they were in boot camp all their young life, but it made him mad that "they didn't understand how much he loved them."
With this, I officially hated nanny turned lovers type of story (Except The Nanny series. That's hilarious). Where on earth is the work ethics?? And the FL annoyed me. First, you should never reprimand parents in front of their kids. That's 101 of parenting. And seriously, her parents died when she was a child, why on earth she fixated on having a boy when her aunts had been telling her she's a blessing. And seriously, you just left the child just because you feel sorry for yourself? Talk about unprofessional.
ngl, ML was a bitch! He should be thankful to have FL in his life, idc his wife Beth died tbh! He should stop having stupid fantasy of a perfect family when he’s not even perfect and boo hoo his wife died, get over it!
