in fiction you can make blackmail work you can make stalking work and you can make obsession and possessiveness work! however! this doesn’t do that it’s poorly written and there’s not character development so the plot doesn’t work and falls flat on its face because the plot doesn’t develop if the characters don’t in this type of situation. it. just. doesn’t. it’s ESSENTIALLY to making this work.
