Shunsuke meets a boy named Tobari, who is staying with him until his house gets torn down. Tobari wants to know so much about Shunsuke, but is shrouded in mystery himself.
Shunsuke is an orphan that lives alone in his house, where in best days received people without a place to call home. One day, a guy named Tobari appears to be taken in but Shunsuke is no longer having anyone at his house, however Tobari stays for a month. What a lovely story!!! This reminds me of "Suzume's favourite" but in some way this is much better. I liked it a lot the reference to the crane legend.
That's a really cute spin-off of the famous japanese folklore story about the crane. And they even managed to find a way to stay together in the end, but for how long? What happens after? Would the Gods allow them to stay together?
This is pretty sweet overall but it's a oneshot and we all know the fate oneshots suffer. They're way too short. It feels like nothing was developed and there was no explanation to how the uke turned from a bird into a human. I really wish there had at least been a kiss but there was a cute hug at the end. Overall, it's was short, sweet and to the point. I just wish there was more.
This beautiful heartwarming story of a mysterious boy really moves me. -- "Nice to meet you. I'm Tobari! A human I've always liked you, very, very much'' -- You two make me happy but also cry like a baby . (ಥ‿ಥ) *ღ¸¸.•✿⊱╮
