Junji Ito is probably my favorite mangaka. His art conforms perfectly with the horror genre and his stories are one-of-a-kind, keep-you-up-through-the-night type of stories. I have never gotten over the mosquito chapters.

absolute mindfuck. this is the first junji ito work i’ve ever read and his ability to turn a simple concept into such a masterpiece is astounding

shuichi x kirie. they are soulmates idc, they’re so cute. they stayed with eachother through everything and ended everything with each other. i love them fr. goals af.

Well shuichi is hot

its so visually pleasing and every panel is beautifully drawn i don't think ill ever get over the way junji into draws and expresses horror while still incorporating a fantastic storyline

This is one of my favourite manga now! I dont get scared easily so it didn't really give me nightmares but the snail-humans really did freak me out, to anyone else that probably would have been the least scary chapter but it really creeped me out... I also dont eat mushrooms anymore cuz of this

I liked it but at some part it got boring and I had to stop readings it . I also did not really understand the ending and stuff I Liked it tho
