Midnight Sun is sequel to Sunny Day

I disliked the last two one-shots, but the rest of it was okay. Not bad x

Loved all the stories except for the fourth chapter, the characters in that one made no sense to me. Loved chapter five, glad to read everything is okay with them.

The first story is pretty good..the stories from ch. 4 are really toxic, what's with the weird age differences.

More like 3 1/2 Stars cause chapters 3 and 4 were not great.

Chapter 1- After a fight with his boyfriend, Yuuga, Soichiro has a heart attack and is hit by a car and dies. However, Soichiro wakes up two days prior and realizes he has a second chance and decides to make some changes. Soichiro is more affectionate and wants Yuuga to have a happy life so he decides to break up with him, however, this causes Yuuga to be hit by the car. In the hospital Yuuga fusses at Soichiro for being stupid and says he also saw Soichiro die and that they had truly been given a second chance.

Chapter 2- After being rejected Otsuji cuts through the park where he is attacked and left for dead in the pond. However, he is saved by a demon he names Akagi and they begin to get closer until Otsuji learns what he eats. Before Otsuji can explain why at first he was scared Akagi sends him back to the world above the pond, but Otsuji can't stop thinking about him and returns. After explaining how he feels they start a relationship.

Chapter 3- Uura(Atsushi) goes to his sister flashy bar after being dump and is instantly attracted to college student, Kizaki. Wanting to get Kizaki attention Uura let's his sister give him a make over and Kizaki instantly approaches him, but Uura's kinda of scared and tries to leave. Kizaki stops him, they go drinking and end up at Kizaki's apartment where they sleep together. Afterwards Uura frets over the fact that he told him that he loved him, but then he gets busy at work and doesn't see Kizaki for about a week. When Uura finally dies see Kizaki he is kissing girl and he realizes it was just a one night stand and tries to forget, but Kizaki doesn't forget and shows up and the bar to talk to Uura. They end up at Kizaki apartment where he ties Uura up and rapes him then he has the nerve to say don't you love me. Kizaki admits that he fell in love with Uura at first sight and they make up. I hate this in stories loving someone doesn't give you the right to rape them and think that its okay.

Chapter 4- I absolutely hated this story. Kouta a 25 year old florist who looks like he is 10 is raped by Takerou, his 15 year old childhood friend that actually looks 25. I was glad that Kouta was mad and felt Takerou only did that cause he knew he could over power him because that's exactly what he did. How the hell Takerou gonna say he's tired of waiting and what does he have to do to be taken seriously. First, try telling the guy you like him cause he's not a mind reader and second don't bleeping rape him. However, I was royally pissed when Kouta just went along with it and said he loved him like the rape was nothing.

Chapter 5- After the last two stories this was a pleasant surprise. I remember the full story of this couple and Kakeru was treated so badly by his parents that I was thankful he had Shouichi and his baby Rurika to love him. I'm also glad that they are still in love.

I generally like this author, but occasionally they put in a story about high schoolers in relationships with adults and that is just super gross, so I have to rate this collection badly just for that.

Reread 2020.02

Great stories and characters that don’t need a different hair colour to be told apart. I love Naono Bohra’s stories, there is always something a little different with at least one character and the sexual chemistry is fantastic between couples.

Hinata Chapter 5 only

1. Souichiro died on his lover, Yuuga's birthday after a fight and was given a chance to set things right. Waking up covered in blood he discovers he has two days to fix the misunderstandings and change the outcome of his fight.
2. Otsuji finds himself at deaths door when he took a shortcut through a dangerous park at night. Lucky for him a lonely lake god awaits him.
3. Atsushi is a recluse with no fashion sense. Worried about him, his sister forces Atsushi to drink at their bar where he instantly falls in love with Kizaki, who frequents the bar.
4. Takerou visits Kouta at the flowershow where he works to buy flowers. Harboring a secret crush on the small 25 year old until he can't hold back any longer.
5. Kakeru works as a housekeeper for Shouichi and his daughter Rurika. When the sister of shouichi's late wife stops by Kakeru decides he is a burden and runs away.

I usually hate oneshot collections, but 4 out of the five were pretty interesting. It kept me reading. there was one with a water demon, one about getting a second life, a flourist one, one about a nerd and a popular guy, and then a teenager and a middle aged man with a daughter.
