This webtoon lives to its title name. This is a unfortunate truth that all the characters hold and don't want to tackle, and how all these people's elders (sibs, parents, etc) failed them, making them rely on other children for love. I feel bad for Jaeha and how he ultimately died at the end very unclimactically. It would've been better if Yoseob stabbed him by accident after Jaeha tries to save Taeoh. Yoseob is the saddest of being failed by everyone around him and never getting real help for his trauma. Idk what Jaeha parents were thinking for not getting Yoseob help and just listening to a child's advice, but it is realistic.
Also those poor standerbys who died, I thought Yoseob was going to go on a rampage on his classmates, but this was better showing he is truly unwell.
This was truly sad and really conveys the trauma of childhood abuse, physical, emotional, and mental.

This was an amazing story that broke me into a kabillion pieces! I WEPT! :( Truly heartbreaking but a very well executed compelling story. My heart breaks for Yoseob and Jaeha. Just breaks!!! I’ll never get over hating Yura . I understood why Yoseob tried to clip her :D Soooo good and traumatic as hell!

FUCK OFF. FUCK. OFF. WHAT THE FUCK MAN. no.. don't do this to me.. they're just kids... jaeha.. he didn't have to die.. why did he die???? pls tell me there's an alternative ending where jaeha survive... i can't... pls... don't make me suffer like this... In all seriousness, i like the plot. it really points out how serious your consequences of your actions are, even if it looks tiny. from the start, it was just a small mistake. taeoh tell someone about jaeha family condition from pettiness. you know.. there are no villains in this story (except yoseob parents). taeoh isn't a villain, he is just a kid. a brat.. but still a kid. doesn't justify what he did, but he did suffer great damage too from it. It's not fair to blame him, but i can't say he's innocent too. yura is.. pretty much innocent, she was just trying her best, she has this own issues that suddenly got bigger because of this. jaeha also didn't deserve ANY of this. sure.. maybe it's his fault that yoseob didn't get any treatment. but.. he is just.. a kid... he was trying his best to survive.. and the fact that his only thing that keeps him going is also the one who's constantly scaring him.. that's just.. sad.. i still want to talk more about jaeha but if i do it'll get too long. and.. yooseob, he is not.. exactly evil.. okay he is a monster but.. it's also not his fault.. he is not the villain. he is also a victim.. who eventually become a perpetrator.. and it's tragic, because he is menstally unstable since he was a child. well.. honestly.. i would like it WAY more if jaeha survive, because it doesn't feel important to make jaeha die. i kind of get it, the author did it so yooseob would have that trigger lose, so he'll stay inside that mental facility because outside there's no jaeha too. also so he would talk to the police because of that lieutenant that looks like him, so it feels like he would confess everything to jaeha the last time. but.. tbh.. jaeha death feels empty, taeoh trauma also feels empty. the ending is not really satisfying because something feels off. because jaeha death didn't have any meaning, it feels wasteful and feels like a rushed ending. but all in all, this is a very creepy manhwa. i stayed up binge reading this lol.. i still can't believe jaeha really died. it feels like the author is messing with me. that's how empty it feels. the friends reaction to his death are also shallow. the parents didn't even get to shine at the end. taeoh also doesn't look like he's dealing with ptsd, um.. well.. i guess people cope differently and he does go to therapy, but I don't think 2 years is a long time for ptsd. and the way taeoh suddenly become a witness even after seeing jaeha died, not even a single tear, it feels.. weird..
