I rate this one a 7/10! I was lowkey feeling mixed opinions on this one because the beginning like 10 ish chapters were so horrid like just straight rape. and the wolf guy was genuine evil red flag, BUT I can see why he treated the bottom awfully sometimes cus he did lowkey try to kill him. Doesn't excuse rape and genuine no sympathy for his situation. It was really good towards the end though! very pleasant and satisfying and the dynamic was cute. I wish they built up the cousins whole thing more tho. Jack was fine asf we need another USA arc, I need the secretary to FUCK Jack. overall a good read, not bad and ps the smut was good

I liked that there were no high stakes at all

Don't ask me to find Geumtae romantic or lovable after all the rape and murder, and then expect a few jokes and a tragic backstory to erase them. His history doesn't change the fact that the character has been written as a murderer and rapist. I hate that authors like to do that alot, like there's no other plot to follow.

Toxic ml has drastic turnaround in the middle

It’s all over the place. It goes from fucked up with barely any explanation to sweet and wholesome by the end. The middle sort of makes sense but not totally. The art starts out atrocious but improves a lot by the end. The smut is good but not great. More than anything I’m rooting for Minjung lol.
