I remember seeing an ad about this story and tried to give it a try and I've been reading this since it was released to the final chapters. I am always hooked in this kind of genre. I also noticed the change in art style, I kinda liked the first one better since it's really detailed compared to the slightly cartoons version of the later chapters but I'm not artist so

Ian deserved better, Claude is kinda trash and way too controlling. His mom a bamf tho. I usually love the hidden gender trope but I feel like it wasn't really utilized in an entertaining way or even in a satisfying revenge type way. Overall boring and disappointing I only read to the end for my boy Ian, not worth it unless you're desperate for something completed

it had a promising start- but it’s downfall is brushing off all of the lead up of the FL and every other build up plot point and ends up reducing the FL to a doll pushed around by others. Even worse is that it ruins all the other characters in the process and makes them out to be soulless husks dedicated to the obsession of FL. It also got real weird when they decided to turn to a narrative that ones in poverty are evil and then just did a genocide military take over. I can see the idea of wanting the grey morals and nuisance of tackling that both sides are no different but wow it got WEIRD. anyway not worth the read.
