I forgot about this series after the bookmark reset fiasco, found it again and lo and behold its completed! I liked how the author got rid of all the extraneous details and didn’t let the plot get convoluted with side plots and new characters, its a skill a lot of authors miss. Short and sweet, I think a fairly satisfying ending. Could probably have had an extra chapter or two for the final showdown, but it was fine.
I liked the detailed notes at the end, Im guessing that means its their first original series? Its pretty good in that case. Also no isekai is a big plus, Im honestly tired of those tropes. She managed to make an original story and didn’t get bogged down by fantasy elements either. Honestly super impressive.

An interesting story based on 'The Little Mermaid' things. Thankfully, it has a happy ending, and the conflict between the two regions at war was quite engaging. Honestly, it’s not exactly a “wow” kind of story, but the romance is so cute and adorable that it makes the story enjoyable to read.
