this is my first ever comment haha but wow this ending is so bittersweet but also such a fulfilling ending. maybe it’s bc im still young i found myself still rooting for the childhood friend and wishing that everything works out, but ig it’s the reality that not all things can work out the way you want it too, sometimes you have to walk away. i think this story did such a good way of differentiating when you should walk away and when you should fight for what you love. i’m still so sad, but maybe i’ll read it in a different way once i’m older :(

this is incredibly well written. its hard for me to read love triangles because it always hurts my feels for the 2nd lead. the beginning of the manhuwa it felt like hyeonwoo would be the male lead so i evidently felt bad for jun but soon the narrative switched but i didn't feel as bad for hyeonwoo.
i felt like hyeonwoo liked yeona but when yeona said that he didn't like her, he then came to terms about slowly not having feelings for her as much. i believe the only reason he liked subin was because of absence. he only liked subin when subin found someone else to fill the void.
i know jun and subin won't workout no matter how hard they try, its more about habit to them than sincere feelings and that might be fine for a while, a long while. since the story IS about growth in brances and in roots.
