I now know why this is considered such a classic, honestly Eric being the main protagonist was a pleasant surprise but sometimes his character was off, like his iq was nerfed at times. I really enjoyed Juli's character arc though and how we slowly learn more and more about him, he really is a tragic character. Out of all the characters, Oscar was my favourite, there's something just so charming about him, you cant help but like him. I probably understand Eric the least even though I relate to him the most, I was quite attached to my mother and became super protective of her, and I believed, still kinda do, that all the men she dated were not for her and sucked. But apart of that was also jealousy as I felt my mother was abandoning me, and no longer saw me as her number one, especially since I was so use to her relying and expressing her feelings to me. I get Eric in this sense.
