Started off as a cute story about an ML who's been hurt by straight men and finds love with the MC. He's kinky, but MC they seem to have a balance. Then we find out ML and his brother get freaky. They don't sleep together, but...the truth isn't far off. This is all treated as "oh, he's kinky," but MC is rightfully freaked out. And then despite talking about wanting to be loved, ML fantasizes about hooking up with his first love--who is also his brother's ex. ML ends up cheating, and the ex flat-out says that ML is cheating, which he denied at first before admitting. Then we get some kind of retcon where ML said in his younger years he was fine with sleeping around, despite earlier chapters saying he wanted love--though then they kinda re-retcon it in the next panel, saying he slept around because he was always afraid of losing a lover. And then he tries to rationalize that MC will probably leave him one day, too. Then it's handled poorly because ML's sister-in-law defends him to MC with "you knew he was naughty. Don't be wishy-washy." Um, not REMOTELY the same thing. And then because ML collapses from ignoring his health due to stress, MC is pressured into forgiving him--which he says he can't do, but that he's done similar things in the past and that it could've done he same thing, DESPITE saying he was a victim of being cheated on by his ex in the past and hurt by it. Also weird for MC to explicitly say ML cheated on him and still give him a ring for his birthday. And then a year later they get married, and the ML's brother, his wife, and his ex all seem to be having a relationship like nothing happened. According to the author, the cheating was just supposed to be a dream, but the publisher said to make it real. Then the author said it was necessary for ML to cheat to break ties with his past...Oh, and all this attention is lavished on one of ML's brothers, but we never meet the eldest, while his parents and MC's family (who hold no resemblance to him) are only seen in one panel.
Also, nitpick: after Ch 5, there's less attention given to their jobs, and they come off as less suave than they did in earlier chapters, so I felt that was a bummer.

the cheating plotline is not a dealbreaker, but it could be handled better. maybe with a third volume that would allow nekoya to get some as well and give usaka actual time to think about his compulsions. love how he’s still a hoe through and through though. overall it’s still a good reading. the protagonists are charismatic and hot ad the kinky brother is a riot, kinda wished he got to meddle more so that usaka could maybe find out that he might not want to share nekoya
