What will you do for love? For nanmu, it was raise another man’s son, and then accept that other man’s anger when he covets that family for his own. For that son, gang-pil, it was turning an entire gangster’s empire on its head.

A nearly forgotten father and son relationship is turned upside down when reunited, but no matter how twisted gang-pil appears to be, Nanmu can’t seem to tell him no, even when gang-pil asks for his body.

Pretty good. Not as good as mania, but still very good. It lacked some details at some point. Or maybe it felt like it was lax about driving the story forward with the main villain. It sat in the back ground for so long and I still never really understood the motivations behind the swamp. Did that one dude’s mom who wanted gang-pil and his mom dead create it? Was she a king pin in her own right? What was the story with the orphanage??? What was wang’s connection with that? Honestly 4 stars was probably generous, but the premise was absolutely delightful. I love a psychotic male lead.
