Bittersweet, sort of, I mean it was technically a happy ending but I still wished that illic said "I love you" to Sa-yan. I know "please don't get hurt" was his "I love you", I just wanted to hear him actually say it because knowing that Sa-yan really lived thinking Illic didn't actually love him and was just tolerating him hurts :'(
