Wanted to see the *Chase* arc but it was a let down as compared to the set up.

I have mixed feelings, but I'm not gonna focus on them that much. Unfortunately it's a pretty forgettable manhua and I won't remember shit a week from now.

I liked the concept. I think it had great potential and it got ruined by the lack of internal conflict and internal monologue. The novel (if it's the adaptation of a novel, I haven't checked) is probably better in that regard, since we actually get to hear the characters' thoughts. But without those thoughts this manhua feels undercooked and the characters react in ways that don't really make sense because we don't know what's in their heads.
