I mostly enjoy slow burn, flawed characters, messy dynamics, age appropriate romance (although I won't skip age gap if both MCs are adults), more pining, less sex, a good, unique plot or cliches that still manage to take me by surprise.
I don't shy away from feeling uncomfortable and I actually quite enjoy "problematic", "taboo" topics or actions as long as they're treated as such, portrayed as bad and there are clear consequences.
I will definitely not read all the BLs I have on my PTR, but I save them anyway just for easy access.
