The moment all possible strategies fail and a game over screen appears, the player awakens inside the world of the game as the extra character, Frondier. His sole ability is "Weaving," a skill that merely saves and replicates objects as virtual illusions. Immediately after his arrival, a main quest appears, warning him of humanity's impending destruction and charging him with changing its fate. Armed only with the capability to create virtual duplicates, he must copy everything he can to overcome the odds and forge a new destiny.

Frondier is not actually as weak as everyone initially believes. His ability, Weaving, appears to merely create temporary illusionary copies of objects, but he gradually discovers that the ability can reproduce the actual structure of objects and weapons.
He uses his knowledge of the game and his replication ability to change events that were originally destined to lead to humanity's destruction. His main objective becomes changing the predetermined fate rather than simply surviving
The original protagonist of the game remains important. Frondier eventually becomes something of a rival-benchmark for the original protagonist, rather than simply replacing him. One spoiler discussion specifically notes that Frondier understands that the original protagonist isn't at his game's maximum potential because the "player" isn't controlling him anymore
Frondier's abilities become dramatically stronger. He eventually goes far beyond simply producing ordinary weapons and can reproduce extremely powerful weapons and use advanced-divine-level abilities.
Frondier ultimately chooses to return to his original world. The ending apparently happens rather abruptly, leaving some questions unanswered—particularly concerning Loki and other-world-related mysteries.
