its really good. its been awhile since I've read any psychological story. although the ending is fitting, but its also underwhelming. must've been because i want to see how their life after, but then again, it wouldn't fitting for the whole vibe if the author show a "normal" slice of life. this whole damn manhwa has been a mind game.
very interesting story, really enjoyed it
Interesting i really liked it but I feel like smth is missing

Gotta re-read it~
I’ll be honest, this one did make me cry, but I was happy. The ending feels rushed in that I wish they’d developed more between the two lovers, but still worth a read.
If you’re struggling to get through it, wait until page 30. I almost gave up. I’m glad I didn’t. Retribution is the best and I love the last few panels.
YES LORD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SO FUCKING GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! I COULD KISS THE AUTHOR.... 5/5 would rec to anyone, actually might rec to a friend later. YOU GOTTA READ THIS! now that uve stumbled on it YOU NEED TO SEE!!!
(i disagree w the little forgiveness speech at the end tho but that's not a big enough deal to me to make me dislike the story. actually doesn't impact my view of it at all. i think that's his truth so idc. anyways u gotta read this shit...)
only a bit boring at the end. not the greatest but still pretty darn good
(favorite read)
Must read 10/10

This was so good plot twist & the way I’m so excited to re-read in the future <33 author put in a lot of effort
Beautiful, absolutely beautiful. I even shed a tear or two
So fucking deep oh my god it's physiological for a damned reason.
I dont get the plot at all
An easy, eeeeasy four out of five stars. The characters were exactly what I like, it was like as if these characters were created to appeal to me specifically. They were just so good.
The plot of the story itself was really good, the plot is very intricately connected to the characters so you kind of can't have one without the other. This plot would not happen as it did if these characters were not written to be the way they are, which I really liked—the plot wasn't generic. In a very simplified retelling, the story is of a society where people can only tell truths . . . Until a student realizes a classmate can tell lies. And it just unfolds from there, rife with plot twists (some expected, some not) and such intensity that kept you reading one chapter after the other.
As I started with, the characters are what really shine in this story. My personal taste are characters that are a bit jaded, rather morally questionable, even at points abusive. And this story brings exactly that. The two main characters, Saegye who is a Dare (capable of lying), and Jinsol who is a False (someone who can only lie). Jinsol is just incredibly manipulative; his whole goal throughout the story is to manipulate Saegye into loving him so that way their abilities end up swapping because you can transfer your abilities through a kiss. Of course, this is a plot twist that comes roughly halfway into the story, and I was fucking floored. They showed early on there was . . . Something going on with Jinsol, but the story was written in such a way that I ended up almost completely forgetting the ominous foreshadowing and was lulled into a false sense of security, which I loved because that also mirrored Saegye's feelings. At first he was skeptical, but he eventually ended up forgetting and falling for him and it was just crushing. I loved that as Saegye slowly started becoming convinced that Jinsol was okay, as did the audience. And then they pulled the rug out from under us. When Jinsol revealed that his ability was that he could only tell lies, and you realize what all the "I love you's" were, it's just crushing.
While Jinsol was manipulative, Saegye had attachment issues. Throughout the first half of the story he's questioning Jinsol repeatedly if he will leave him like everyone else does, and while it's incredibly bittersweet in hindsight, it's also kind of real as fuck. He was so scared of being alone that it was kind of pathetic. He's my "literally me" character. Straight men have the Joker, I have Saegye. The 2nd half of the story is Saegye refusing to believe Jinsol really didn't love him so he sets off on this self-destructive quest to blow open this huge societal secret that he believed could have killed him. All because his attachment issues were so severe that he couldn't acknowledge the truth. And it's good that he didn't because he ended up being right LMAO
Of course there were small things with the plot that I found kind of questionable; the "False" ability just straight up was insanely inconsistent. There's moments where I thought "oh that's a truth so how can he say that" kind of like all the time. Jinson grew up basically being a mute yet when Saegye gets the ability he's basically fine, really. There's also the fact that dares (or people who are dares adjacent) seem to be an incredibly small population, yet there's so many in Japan for some reason that Saegye manages to befriend. Like alright. But ultimately these are small things that don't weigh down the story too much, I still find it worthy of being four stars, and it's honestly one of my favorites.
Small thing I wanted to mention; the ending panels being Saegye saying goodbye to his mother fucking broke me. I ended the story with teary-eyes, and it was entirely unexpected. It was such an almost heartaching way to end the story, bittersweet. But I loved it. It was incredibly moving.
such a beautiful story :’

tldr; interesting and original premise but poor execution. All the more disappointing because i had such a high hope for this manhwa.
(Spoiler alert)
The story is filled with too many plotholes, the rule of this world was so arbitrary that it became a joke, and the characters' actions and motivations made no sense -- for example, a False could tell the truth in writing, so why the hell did Jinseol get all angsty about not being able to be honest with his mom and sister? One of his motivations to steal Saegye's ability was because he wanted to truthfully say "i love you" to people -- just freakin text them! And also, putting aside the outrageously Dumb logic of swapping identities by kissing, why did Jinseol need to make Saegye fall for him in the first place? If all he needed was a kiss, he could've manipulated him or made up any excuse. He could get a kiss from Tan, but not from Saegye? And that public reveal about Dares were written so freaking poorly i actually laughed. The author made it as if it was Saegye's decision to expose the Dares (and by extension, his feelings for Jinseol) that changed the world, but what would he have done if Caesar didn't want to get involved? Wasn't it HER decision that mattered the most, in the end? She was a deus ex machina who had all the means and power to reveal Dares without getting buried by the government. She was the one who influenced Saegye the most in this matter -- at first, she didn't see any benefit when Saegye wanted to help Tan, so she discouraged him from exposing the Dares. But once she had her own agenda, she was the one who encouraged Saegye to expose himself and helped him to do it smoothly (with no real consequences shown, what the HELL). So why tf did she tell Tan that all of these huge changes for the freakin humanity was all because of Saegye? Without her, Saegye's choice or feelings for Jinseol meant shit in resolving the conflict, let alone changing the world -- and i hate that a lot (also she kissed a minor, so screw her)
Context: this is a disclaimer I put before all of my favorite mangas and manwhas, for myself (and others) for context. This is a phrase or whatever from something I like, that I think fits this nicely.
If you tear apart something I love.........you might cause me to shed a tear... *stares at camera wide eyed with a smile*
