This story seems calm on the surface, but beneath it all, there’s turmoil. The main character’s story, rooted in past trauma, makes the narrative much darker. Some refuse to let go of the past, others refuse to accept their fate—they all cross paths, weaving intrigues to break free from their shackles.
Don’t worry, it’s a happy ending. Even though their relationships are complicated.

Misaligned with the image of a villain, he's just a fragile child in search of a place that holds space for him inside a world that denies him. And he still bears so much love in his heart. He's been confessing to Saegye about deceiving him for the longest time. And although he doubts his own emotional sagacity, he still was kind to Saegye to the best of his capacity.

I will always hold Jinsol's desperation and hardship close to my heart. I want to keep him all to myself, really. Always overcomplicating everything, that's how he'd been raised to think. And it's so endearing to unravel and embrace, and relate to.
