When I read this for the first time and I was so blinded by my hatred for taejoo but reading it for the second time made me understand him better. although, I would never not have a sliver of hatred for him. I understand that grieving someone that you’ve known for 31 years is a lot but I never understood why he treated yoon the way that he did when they reunited. he was supposed to welcome yoon with open arms and make the transition into life easier but he didn’t care and I would never understand that. However, this made me realize that loving someone isn’t enough. I know Taejoo loved Yoon but he kept holding him back from achieving his dreams and you shouldn’t sacrifice your dreams for anyone. So, I think Taejoo moving on was the right thing because without his mind being consumed by Yoon and if he’s alive or not, he would be able to take a weight off his shoulders and no longer be constantly depressed, and that’s why I like Kwon. Kwon understands Yoon in a way Taejoo never would so therefore Yoon could be himself free of inhibitions. Overall, I really enjoyed this story and I hope the author writes another one.

I hated it. It was so incredibly sad at the beginning, and just as I was hoping for them to get back together, they have all these stupid philosophical internal monologues and then randomly decide to break up. I couldn't feel happy for the new couple. It just felt forced compared to the first. So unsatisfying.
