im not entirely sure where the realism lies.
no but legitimate human boy who's not like partial supernatural being or becomes increasingly strong due to third party because he can stand on his own. like his relationship be symbiotic u know
its like if the unknown white sandstorm static of channel TV had dimensional lore that surpassed human theories
modern day description of an overlapping limbo
i can't tell if this ended or not lol. but uhhhh concept wise, i REALLY love how it's an entire biblical reference (like damn those fucking angels are terrifying, and how the author includes a lot of things about 'words' and 'language' and how it's a tool and inhibitor of reaching god, etc). also tbh i just really like the rock climber.
it,,, kinda has the same atmosphere as jjk, or more accurately, tokyo ghoul. like "supernatural realm within unsuspecting modern world except it's not that unsuspecting lmao." but it's the "nun with a gun" type of thing that rly hits it home
YESSS like one of my first mangas i think. in love with the artstyle
NAH MAN LIKE IM ONLY ON 27, BUT THE START EITH THE PAINTING AND GRANDMA WAS HYPE ASF LIKE DAMN RLLY A WHOLE ASS OTHER WORLD OUT THERE
LOL NO BUT IT'S LIKE CRYPTIC BUT NOT IN THE ETHERAL OR ELDRITCH SENSE, BUT IN THE "what the fuck is happening" SENSE from a very normal vet and i think that's super funny. esp when she found out (light spoilers) her cat was once king of the mountains as a mythical tiger, and she cut off his balls RIP
