Kentarou (Seme) x Tatusuya (Uke) (Blond)
The uke is kind of too cute for me and his irresistible form is definitely not my type of uke. But I think the way he acted at the start is what got me into reading this manga if I remembered correctly.
Takahiko (Seme, blond) x Aoi (Uke, black hair)
I remember quite liking this story. It was set during a war and Takahiko came back after hiding as an actor for a few years (or he wanted to be an actor hence was trying to get acting gigs). Aoi was working as a translator for the Americans I think and there was a sergeant who really liked him but in the end Aoi ended up together with Takahiko who was his true love. Hoped the sergeant gets his own cute spinoff relationship as a bottom.
2nd couple's uke fits the description.
I liked the 2nd couple more (because I liked how the uke looked) and also how the uke was stubborn at first about liking guys (and was kind of homophobic towards the 1st couple) but he got curious and slowly fell in love (I guess) with the seme though he doesn't want to admit it. I like how you think the seme was the jerk but it is actually the uke who is the jerk. The seme is just very loud, aggressive and a show-off in how he handles things.
Food handler (Seme, long hair) x Salaryman (Uke, short hair)
It was pretty cute and kind of realistic towards the end. I loved the way the seme fell in love with the uke and how the uke basically became his passion in life. Also the scene with the seme's mother and him was really touching and how he told her he was finally moving to be with the one he loved and selling the apartment. Very bittersweet moment but the manga ended with a happy ending.
Dragon (Seme, blond) x Prince (Uke, Black hair)
No major kiss or explicit scenes cause this is a shounen ai. I liked how we see the Dragon's viewpoint and how he wants to love but his love will only cause destruction if he is not careful hence why he wanted the Prince whose body is stronger than other humans and takes longer to age. This concept took the Prince a long time to understand but eventually he did and fell in love with the Dragon. Very wholesome read and really interesting.
Yoojun (Seme, blond, doctor) x KangHyuk (Uke, tan, black hair)
It was cute at first but I couldn't get over my bad feeling of a doctor taking advantage of a patient for their own need. Eventhough I read a lot of dark stuff about manipulation and taking advantage of others, but this type of scenario is a no go for me for some reason so I stopped halfway.
Alex (Seme, blond) x Clark (Uke, Black hair)
This is the psychological thriller where the uke is not the usual small uke that needs saving but instead Clark is the one trying to save his friend/ex by manipulating Alex (the killer) into falling in love with him instead. I really like Clark and how cold and calculated he is. The way he acts and thinks is so interesting where his indifference almost makes him seem like a potential serial killer. I also like the Inspector Chief and his shamlessness
Yeonwoo (Seme, younger) x Geonho (Uke, older)
This is a pretty funny manhwa. There were many moments that made me laugh at the ridiculousness. Geonho is a very mature character and he is willing to learn about things he doesn't know and doesn't shame Yeonwoo about being gay or anyone else who likes using toys. He is very understanding and wise and that is the reason why his gang members looked up to him so much.
Matthew (seme)(Brown hair) x Jin (uke)(Black hair)
Puppy, younger, innocent seme x Yakuza/Mafia, older, experienced, power bottom uke
I really like Matthew's thought process because you think he is this innocent guy but he is actually kind of cold and only shows his cute side to Jin . And you think Jin is cruel and cold but you have these moments where he seems to understand Matthew and is not so harsh on him. In fact, he kind of encourages Matthew in his own way in my opinion.
Jake (Seme) (Blond hair) x Moon ShinGun (uke) (Black/Brown hair)
Mafia, horny, sensual seme x No nonsense, what did I get myself into, power bottom uke
I like how Shin doesn't immediately think that Jake is handsome or sexy and secretly wanted to hook up with him before he found out who he was. And once he did find out, he didn't immediately fall head over heels in love with him, he just knew he messed up and now he wants to figure out how to get out of this relationship and is scare
